Hello all!  I started LACTNET briefly at the beginning of the week without
really taking the time to introduce myself.  I am Debbie Albert from Tampa,
Florida.  I have over six years experience as a LLL Leader, and became an
IBCLC last August.  I also have a Ph.D. in Counseling, and I am a licensed
mental health counselor.  I want to thank all the people who sent name
suggestions for my "new" practice.  After all that hoopla, my husband, Dan,
came up with the winning name:  Tampa Lactation Counseling+ (TLC+).  I will
take advantage of the play on words with the acronym.  I am really excited
about this new phase in my life because I will be able to work without
effecting valuable family time.  Dan and I have been married for 13 years,
and we have two sons:  Josh (7) and David (4).

     I still would appreciate advice from experienced private practitioners.
  Is Magginis & Assoc. the only people who insure LCs?  Can LCs become
providers for health companies?  Thanks for all your help and valuable info!
