Hi all,
Just an update on my little girl, now 14 mos.  This applies to the discussion
of a while ago re exclusive bf past 6 mos and whether or not babe will be
anemic.  My girl eats precious little besides breastmilk, so today I had the
MD check and the hemoglobin is 11.7, hematocrit 35.1, which is fine.  We'll
just keep on keeping on.  I knew she was healthy and active, but this was
very reassuring to me.  BTW, the finger stick was very innocuous (she didn't
cry) and one drop of blood yielded results in about 1 minute.  Very nice.
