Can anyone lead me to information on a hospital side-car crib as described
in Helen Ball's latest study? I've done a search and haven't come up with
anything yet. I also tried to search for the bedside co-sleeper that was
discussed a year or two ago on Lactnet that was manufactured in Germany, I
believe, and can't find it anymore. My Director is interested in looking
into purchasing them for our soon-to-be redesigned true Mother/Baby unit.
The hospital is officially against any bedsharing. This would be a great
compromise, especially with Helen Ball's safety study in hand. Staff is
panicking about "forced" 24 hour rooming-in. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
