The family crisis case I described on 11/11 is resolving nicely. The baby is
nursing well on one side and OK on the other; mom's milk supply is great,
and family members are rallying together to deal with the sudden death of
the baby's grandmother. (The grandmother died from a sudden rupture of an
aortic aneurysm while the mother was in labor).

The mother (my client) and her husband have decided to work with a counselor
because even though they are handling things OK now, they realize that they
will be at risk for aftershocks for a long time to come.

An interesting side note - a close friend of this family is a chiropractor
who specializes in work on infants and children. He arrived to treat the
baby shortly after I left their home, and the baby's suck improved after one
treatment. He's worked on the baby two more times, with improvements each
time.
