Thank you for your wonderful reply Virginia! I agree, and I tried to tell
this mom more or less this (much less eloquently). She came in through a
support chat, so I am not her primary provider and she is convinced her
babies have an unusual amount of gas. She did an elimination diet with her
first, and was told this time to do the elimination diet BEFORE giving
birth (??). She's stressed and convinced she has a foremilk/hindmilk
imbalance, babies with sensitivities, and her baby is not latching now, AND
she's pumping for friends' babies??? It's a lot, but as we only have
"access" through a chat, I told her I would look into this supposed
"research" and get back to her. It looks like there is no such research to
be had.
