i have already had two clients who went to twelve hours on one breast to get
the oversupply under control! so keep increasing the time on one breast, but
slowly, to see the benefits of the efforts. also, here is that evil phrase
"nipple shield" which has been recommended before on lactnet for helping with
this type of problem.

on the positive side, i have seen the resolution of thrush eliminate the
clenching, since the baby has been experiencing mouth pain or irritation.
