Hi everyone, my name is Betty, I am  LC in Maine.  I have been lurking for a
long time but now I need your help.  I have a pt. who will be having a lump
removed from her arm in August.  She is going to Boston to have this done and
her physician and the anesthesiologist have told her she cannot breastfeed
for 2 wks because of the general anesthesia.  I have told her that she can
probably breastfeed as soon as she feels like it.  I have some info from Dr.
Tom Hale's book but does anyone know where I can find more info to support
breastfeeding after surgery?  Her baby is a healthy 7 mos. old. She doesn't
know exactly what medications she will be having. Thank-you in advance for
any info you can send me.
