Hello, My name is Pam Akin, and I am an RN from Kansas who has just joined
your group.  I am currently working at as an L&D nurse in one of the two
hospitals in our city.  We are very active in promoting breastfeeding, have
a lactation consultant on staff, as well as an active breastfeeding and
home health clinic.  I am currently working on my ARNP at WSU and am in
enrolled in J.R. breastfeeding and lactaion course.
For an assignment I am supposed to conduct a short survey of folks from
different countries to compare different rates of breastfeeding and
birthing practices (c-sections, epidural use, etc.)  Anyone who can give me
some of this information where you practice would be appreciated.  You can
