I know I already thanked those of you who responded to my post about
consueling a mom over the internet but I want to add something:
I feel so relieved to know that my inability to help her was not my
inexperience. I felt so stupid, and I wondered if I really knew so
little. Your input helped me understand that no one, no, not even
Kathleen <g> can help a mom without seeing her, and now I feel justified
in telling the mom that she must see a local person, and as much as I
would love to help her, I simply cannot.

So thanks again. I needed that.
