Catching up on Lactnet...

A year ago as I was searching the internet for documentation software for IBCLCs... I also only saw the one option that has been previously listed. It just so happens that I am married to a pretty great guy that designs data reporting tools. When I asked if he could design a database that tracks outpatients, generates reports, does my math for me, prints out my care plan, education, etc... he said, "tell me what you want it to do." After a year of on and off development, taking breaks to live life and shuttle kids to various activities... it is almost done. Obviously, it will need minor tweaks after it is tested and put in place, but I am so excited. So far it has done everything I have needed it to do as we test with "fake scenarios." If anyone is interested, I will let you know how it goes after my reporting tool is implemented in a couple weeks. I can't wait...
