Amen! And thank you Rachel and Lara for providing balanced responses
here. I was/am unable to articulate just how bad I still feel that I need
pump full-time for my son and have to pull out an Avent bottle instead of a
breast in order to feed him. So in the interest of remaining civil and not
appearing "defensive" I'll refrain from adding anything to the statement
about the offensiveness of public bottle-feeding except to mention that
yes, comments like that HURT.

And we often let my little guy drink multiple times from the same bottle
over many many hours (if it's fresh). He's a snacker, and we finally
figured out that (duh!) it's fewer bottles to wash if he we put 6-8oz in a
larger bottle. We've never had a problem with it.

-Sarah (whose 10-month-old won't drink his mm unless daddy or I are giving
it to him so at least is able to maintain a nearly exclusive feeding
relationship)
