Hello Everyone,
I had a question. I had a call from a mother of a 12 week old. She is
Breastfeeding and is about to start a furniture refinishing class. It
has only just ocurred to her to wonder if there could be a problem. She
will be going once a week for 3 hours, the class lasts 10 weeks. She
will be wearing a good quality mask and the area where the class is held
is well ventilated. She will be working with paint thinners and
strippers and varnish removers. Where would one look for information
about the danger of inhaling such volatile chemicals? Would the mask and
the limited time of exposure be enough to insure that none of these
chemicals pass into her milk or is this just not going to happen? Does
anyone have any experience with such things?
All suggestions are welcome. Thanks
