Breastfeeding is NOT contraindicated with Rh incompatibility. Ask them where
they got their information - to show you the research!  Assuming the anti-D
Rh antibody survives stomach acid, which I doubt, it still will be broken
down in the intestine and used as nutrition. Even Larry Gartner MD, the guru
of jaundice, former haed of Neonatology and Chair of Pediatrics at the U. of
Chicago, who wrote the AAP guidelines, does not say to limit breastfeeding
with Rh disease! Why is BM always guilty until proven innocent?
