Heather mentioned the April 30 Sunday Times article on PCBs in breastmilk a few
days ago.  I would be very interested in some discussion of this article,
because on a first reading it is quite alarming.  The authors of the study
claim that some women with high PCB levels in their milk have children who are
actually more vulnerable to infection than their artificially fed counterparts.
 By my third reading of the article, some flaws in the reporting and some
questions about the study became clearer.  But how many women who are on the
fence about breastfeeding will read it three times?  And what's really going on
with PCBs in breastmilk?
