Toni,
I had a post menopausal mother (had bf her own grown children)
who ended up adopting the baby of a friend of her daughter (mom in
early-mid 50s) who felt that familiar tingle when she was snuggling with
the baby....called to find out if she could harm the baby by putting him
to the breast...munchkin took off like he'd been waiting for it all his
life (who knows) and only had very small amounts of abm from that moment
on. What a wonderful experience for them both! Mom couldn't even talk
about it without choking up....I think of that couple on "bad" bf days.
