I'm glad this mom has been doing some positive activities toward improving
her situation, I thought from reading and observing infants at the breast
when they are attached deeply, that it's the "jaw action" stripping the
ducts and (glandular) lobules that most effectively drained these :plugged
regions. I thought this was best facilitated by pointing the chin towards
the lobule needing "stripping" have I been counseling mothers incorrectly ?
and have interpreted my observations poorly ?

Has she tried nursing one side per feed to suppress a tendancy to
"oversupply" ? even if she fed her other 3 (both sides). I've found by
observation that with the mothers I've helped with several babies, each
baby seems to get more milk in less time at the breast and tend toward 1
sided nursing when their last child "needed" both sides...just an
observation in my practice.  any one else notice these conditions or am I
way off base ????
