I am proud to recommend our military hospital as being the "best place to
have a baby" in the greater Fort Hood Area. It hasn't always been the case
but moms have a better chance of getting what they want, especially natural
childbirth and breastfeeding support, in our military hospital than other
civilian hospitals in the area. The midwives and LC's have contributed
significantly to that recommendation. The frustrating part is that many
active duty moms and dependant wives think because it is civilian it must be
better.

Supporting soldiers and families in Central Texas,
Stephanie Nicholson, AAHCC
