Hi all. A counselor in my Nursing Mothers Group has a mom whose baby
prefers one breast over the other. She is getting a little lopsided but
nobody was too concerned about this until the mother went to be fitted for
a strapless bra (needed for a formal function). The saleslady told her
that she also had nursed one breast more than the other and became lopsided
and that her breasts stayed lopsided FOREVER. Now the mom is worried that
she, too, will be quite lopsided for the rest of her life. (We've never
heard of this. Our going theory is that this saleslady was lopsided to
begin with [aren't we all???] but never noticed it until she began
comparing her breasts while nursing.) Have any of you ever heard of a
child's breast preference making the breasts permanently lopsided? Please
fill us in on anything you may know. Thanks!

Linda V.
