I remember reading an article a long time ago about research in Israel on
the use of a breast pump for labor induction. This was tried specifically
because the uteri of grand multiparas (larger number of pregnancies) are
so sensitive to oxytocin.

Techniques of those times (25+ years ago) were said to be not technically
advanced enough to avoid precipitous labors if pitocin would have been
used.
