I am going to change my wording to call pumps such as the Elite, the
Lactina, etc. as "rental quality" instead of hospital grade. I sometimes
call them hospital quality but now that several personal use pumps are
calling themselves hospital grade this is too confusing. I suggest we start
calling the purchased pumps as personal use pumps or single user. I think
the term multi user is not clear enough for the average mom who only knows
what is on the store shelf. We use the term "multi user" at WIC for the
Lactinas and Elites, and "single user" for the Purely Yours. Most moms are
not aware that the personal use pumps are not meant for multiple mothers.

The problem with calling them piston pumps is the Symphony is a diaphram not
a piston (right?).

Gee, this is a pain in the neck to have to clarify terms when manufacturers
start fudging their product descriptions.
