Laurie Wheeler makes a really important point when she says that you can't
extrapolate on the adequacy of colostrum only feeds if the baby is having
trouble latching and intake is uncertain.  So many babies don't feed well
Day 1 and 2.  They need protection.  Luckily, colostrum is easy to hand
express into a spoon.  Instruct the mom to feed this to the baby.
