i received this email this morning. i will be writing this man back to give
him the basic information about the us and canada (donor milk only, too
costly to ship around the world anyway). i would appreciate it if anyone
would contact me who knows of a country where breastmilk is actually bought
and sold, and i will pass that information along.

however, what i am really thinking is that i need to talk to the woman who
was posting about the orphanages in russia (sorry, i forgot who that was,
please email me asap). if there were some way to make a connection there,
even if it takes outside support (money) to enable the women that are willing
to make milk to provide it to the babies who need it, then it would help us
feel we are contributing something. (i know, i have a thousand concerns about
this, but let's give it some thought).
