Hi All,
Oh, man Linda! WHat a laugh my hubby and I had over this one. We are
thinking that they must be using the byproducts of their other products to
make this. I guess if they totally defatted the cooked pork/beef fatty
tissues there wouldn't be anything left, right? We have never heard of or
seen this stuff. I don't think we are missing much.
Linda, do you know if it is OK for a breastfeeding mom to eat? (just
kidding...)
Jay
who is glad she'd already had dinner when she read this...

>"Potted Meat Food Product." What is this? Read on as I quote from the
ingredient
>label:
>Mechanically separated chicken, partially defatted cooked pork fatty tissue,
>beef tripe, partially defatted cooked beef fatty tissue, vinegar, salt,
>spices, sugar, natural flavors, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite.

>The label says it is "a delicately seasoned spread perfect for sandwiches and
>snacks." (I wonder if their CEO's eat this stuff. Yuk.)
