The midwives whom I work with--mostly home births--all say that more boys
have trouble with feeding than girls, and these are unmedicated babies.
Perhaps they do have more trouble "getting it together" and if we throw in
medications it is even worse.

I just did a quick tally and this year my cases are 68% boys and 32% girls.
Also I find that the problems that girls and boys present with are different.

When there was/is little medical follow-up do more boys not survive?
