Tribute to retired LLL Leaders Everywhere

For many years these leaders gave
their time and love and care.
When moms and dads and babes were sad
you could bet they'd be right there.

From "won't latch ons", to nursing strikes
and nipples that were sore,
They usually knew just what to do
about this and much much more.

Their knowledge came from their own wee tots
and tips from other mothers.
And still today, in the same gentle way
we pass this on to others.

Now these women's babes are grown
and they've drooped to a size long cup,
But we know as we sigh, old leaders never die
one day they just dry up.
