Okay, having asked one loaded question, here's a follow-up (and it's related).

Who dispenses nipple shields in the hospitals you work in?  Nurses, LCs,
doctors?  For what indications?  How do you make sure that everyone is
using the same criteria for evaluating a mom's need?

Thank you for your helpful remarks so far.  Laurie and Winnie both
eloquently and convincingly explained their rationales for opposite
viewpoints.  Nancy Wight wrote in recently on this too.  Great!
