This from a friend...

Hi, I am, an aspiring IBCLC, and also  an L&D
nurse and childbirth educator.I am catching up on old email, and wanted to
thank you for your kind but  professional handling of the occasional
conflict I've seen on this list.
I signed off of another professional email list after committing an
unintentional faux
pas and being verbally assaulted by over 20 different people. I look at the
archives occasionally, but am just not willing to subject myself to that kind
of abuse, regardless of the value of the information presented. I apologized
publicly, but it didn't seem to matter, and the list owner never bothered to
intervene. I DID get about 15 supportive letters, but only one was posted
to the list as
well.Thank you for being fair and evenhanded, and allowing LACTNET to be a
safe
place for people to learn.
