I've recently started training myself on the Hazelbaker Assessment
Tool. It isn't specifically for PTT but I'm finding it very useful. At
first it seemed cumbersome but it gets easier very quickly. I believe
Allison Hazelbaker suggests doing 40 assessments is necessary for
proficiency when not receiving direct training but don't have the
information right now. I've done about 10 and am finding it very
useful as a way to assess restrictions.

I believe Dr. Kotlow has a youtube video that shows how to assess a
PTT. Catherine Watson Genna spoke at the WALC conference in Wisconsin
this past spring and spoke of it as well. If you press on the
frenulum, there will be a dip in the tongue closer to the front.

Hopefully some of more knowledgeable LACTNETTERS will speak up with
more info and suggestions.

All the best,
