Hi friends,

I am in the market for purchasing a baby scale for my budding practice
and was wondering if some of you would be willing to share your
feelings and thoughts with me.

I'm contemplating purchasing the M....a Baby C.....r scale. By the same
token, if my money would be better spent in purchasing the baby W....,
because of it's ability to calculate pre and post feed weights...???

I know I'll probably rub a few the wrong way when I say that somewhere
inside me I still have a problem in weighing babies before and after
feeds. I guess that's why I hesitate in dishing out the $$...but then
again I must be honest in saying that the preterm infants I've worked
with have all been relatively stable..no medical problems, and with
consultation and consistent follow-up, mom and baby do fine. As my
practice grows, I might need a scale like this, right??

My initial thoughts were that the first scale I mentioned would be a
good choice to start with so that I could at least track weight during
visits. Or do most of you send moms and babies to the pedi for a weight
check??

On another note, is there another company out there with a good product
I should be looking into?

I appreciate all your comments, suggestions and thoughts!

Sincerely,

Wendy
