Lactnetters,
I'm working as a doula with a mother of 7 week old twins. The mother was
diagnosed with C-Diff from antibiotics she was on during pregnancy. She was
given Vencomyacin (sp?). Her first round was not taken dilligently (first
weeks postpartum). She started another round, and after finishing, she stills
has the C-Diff. The only other medication she can use is Flagyl which she
cannot nurse with. Does anyone know of anything she can do to relieve
symptoms until she is ready to wean, or is there another medication she can
try? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Colette Acker
