When you see an Internet link that runs on two lines, run your cursor over both of them. If the second line doesn't show an underline, there is an easy way to make it work.
1. Highlight and Copy that "bad" part. (you'll find Copy in the dropdown window under Edit)
2. Click on the "good" part.
3. When you get the "that address doesn't work" message, put your cursor at the end of the partial address in the URL window and Paste the line you just copied. (Paste is also in the Edit dropdown window)
4. Hit Enter.
I do this all the time to get the links that are split up in email messages.

One possible remedy for people sending long URLs for links is to put "carats" or < and > before and after the link you want to send out to people. Sometimes that makes the entire link active or avoids truncation and the carats do not show up in the URL window.

The other, of course, is to make a TinyURL. Google the term and bookmark / favorites it for future use.

Lnida I cannot get the link you forwarded to the statement made? by the US Breastfeeding Committee in regards to
donor milk to work? :(

Can you please resend? You might try to 'tinyurl' the link, this shortens the address to fit on one line.

Sometimes I think the length of the address causes the LactNet listserve software to truncate the web address.
