How dare he call this a lesson in feminism! It's certainly the worst
form of anti-feminism.
I have been concerned about the mothers since I heard that the children
would now be raised in foster homes where they would be well cared-for.
The mothers, who are the victims of the worst abuse, are again
mistreated by the system. I still haven't figured out why they simply
didn't take all the men away from the compound, question them, and take
appropriate measures against them. Instead, they chose to remove mothers
and children from their homes and separate them. I was temporarily
consoled by the sight of several mothers carrying their babies onto the
bus, but I see now that the authorities haven't had the protection and
support of the mothers and children at the forefront of their concerns.
