Hi Jeanne--
As one "LC in the wilderness" to another, welcome to Lactnet. It is indeed a
wonderful resource for those of us without other LCs to talk to. I've been a
lone LC in this part of the north for nearly 10 years, many of those being
the only IBCLC north of Edmonton, which is a 5-6 hour drive south of here.
It gets lonely, but our breastfeeding friendly community is steadily
building. When breastfeeding is mentioned around town now, it isn't always
ME talking about it!
