Hello! I am happy to be returning to the Lactnet forum after being away for the past few years while I was attending school. My name is Clara Marchese and I am an RN IBCLC in Rochester, New York. I have been an LC for 5 years, but I am a new RN, having just completed school last December. I now work at a local hospital and am very fortunate to have been able to continue my work as an LC on the floor for half of the week while I work as a Postpartum RN in our Mother-Baby unit for the rest of the week. It has been a wonderful opportunity to go back and forth between the two jobs, and I continue to find on an almost daily basis how my work in one capacity strengthens my skills and understanding of my other capacity.
I look forward to being a part of this wonderful forum again !
