I'm not sure what conversation that was, but Catherine's comment did bring
to mind the baby who came to me "nipple confused," whose mom presented the
bottle directly, calmly, and steadily, and the breast by waving around in
front of his face.  His body English said so clearly that it was practically
audible, "Stop flapping the darned thing around and maybe I can catch hold
of it!  Keep this up and I'm leaving the room!"
