Karen says,

<< If breastfeeding contributes to a higher incidence of rejection in infant
transplant, shouldn't there be research data/journal reports to support the
liver specialist's claim? Why isn't someone asking the specialist to provide
the refs/ research citations, especially when that info conflicts with the
 info of another doc? >>

and I add: especially when the literature supports the fact that ADULTS who
have been breastfed have a higher rate of acceptance of transplants and there
is some doc in NC (this guys OWN state!!) who routinely gives his liver
transplant patients a dose of breastmilk every day. I think it is 2 ounces
twice a day -- but don't quote me.

But hey, why read the literature when you can spout some nonsense that sounds
vaguely scientific? And put down breastfeeding at the same time?
