For those of you from nearby. please try to come.
For those of you from elsewhere, I thought this might be of interest.
We'll keep you posted on what comes out of the meeting, too.

What's your vision for breastfeeding in Massachusetts? What needs to
change to
make it a reality? That's the agenda for this Sunday's Massachusetts
Breastfeeding Coalition retreat.

Where: Allen Riddle Family Room, Newton Wellesley Hospital
(directions below)
When: Sunday, November 5, 2 - 5:30 pm
Why: To develop a vision, mission, and goals for the MBC

Since its founding in 1996, the coalition has grown tremendously. Our
annual
conference attracts more than 200 people, and has featured nationally-
known
speakers. Our patient and provider handouts are posted in hospitals
and clinics
across the state and around the country. MBC helped write the new state
perinatal regulations, and our group brought national attention to
the ethics of
formula marketing in hospitals. We've made great strides.

This Sunday, we'll take the long view, and we'll develop a vision for
breastfeeding in the Bay State, together with a mission statement and
objectives
for the next five years. We need your experience, your expertise, and
your
passion! Please join us on Sunday afternoon -- and please forward this
invitation to anyone who might be interested.

I'll be facilitating the discussion. I hope you'll be able to come!
