I object. To my eye, and to a baby who feeds from one, any similarity
between a rubber teat (nipple) and a breast is purely coincidental. The
companies would like us to think they are a close approximation, but they
are not. I too find artificial teats offensive, but mainly because I know
the damage they can do to suck, the mouth, etc., not because they remind
me of nipples.

As for bottle teats in flowers for new mothers - that's a new one on me.
Do the florists also do a line on dildos in wedding flowers - just in
case they new couple don't fancy the natural thing, or in case something
doesn't work out......? Same logic.
