The essay about nipple pain was fabulously annoying -- considering that she
manages to end up with the fairly OK advice of "get someone to fix your
latch, and let your nipples dry with your milk on them," she manages to jam a
lot of sarcasm and product advertising in to the earlier page and a half.

But Salon must have gotten a lot of complaints about it  -- or else their
editor's aren't in love with it either -- because their "Editor's Pick" of
the day, posted much higher on the web page than that piece, is one from last
summer called "The Lactating Feminist," about how empowering the author, an
actress, finds it to use her breasts for what they were meant for --
"breastfeeding my toddler."

So, a mixed bag (like the rest of life) -- Elisheva
