Nikki,

I totally agree.  When I have spoken to student docs and student 
nurses, they are relieved to know that I am not adding something to 
their plate, but actually making life easier.  I tell them all they 
really need to know is what LLL and IBCLC stand for, and how/when to 
make a referral.

There's no shame in it.  It should be just like a family doc referring 
to a  cardiologist  when he's got more than he can handle.
