I just use two simple metaphors, nothing elaborate like yours.

BF is like swimming.  It's natural and instinctive in most animals, but
people have to learn how.

BF is like dancing.  The two partners each have to learn the steps.  Even if
one person knows how, if the other one doesn't toes will get stepped on for a
while.
