  I used the mini pill when my son was an infant (at 6 months...had so much milk that I wasn't tremendously concerned about supply issues). I have friends who had great success with this pill, but I got my period back a month or so after starting it, and I definately felt the middleschmertz (sp?) ovulation pain, so we figured I was fertile again.

  Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

Kellie, I have not have personal experience with the Pill while lactating=
, but=20
bcp's containing only PROGESTIN as opposed to estrogen AND progestin are=20=

not considered to be huge risks with respect to milk supply. It's the co=
mbo-
pills that are the most concerning, but are still okay to try after 6 mon=
ths.

Progestin-only pills are sometimes called the Mini-pill, and may not be=20=

effective for every woman. You should discuss options with your doctor.

As well, you will learn much more about your birth control options at the=
WABA=20
site: http://www.waba.org.my/specialpages/lam/FBPF.htm

Blessings!
