What are P.A.s? What can they do? How do they get paid? In Australia a
General Practitioner studies for 6 years at University then does a further
3-4 years training and sits for a Fellowship Exam. They can then set up
their own Practice . In SOUTH Australia there are 14 GPs who are also
IBCLCs. Carolyn Lawlor-Smith
