Dear Friends:
    We have heard of cases of poor weight gain in infants whose parents are taking some parenting method to extremes. I have heard from a lactation consultant in State College, PA  of 2 cases where parents were following a method that was just discussed here on LACTNET in the last few weeks of February where the only suggestion that the lactation consultant made was to stop using the pacifier and breastfeed more. Both babies started to gain better.
