I have to laugh at the no heavy lifting. After 2 babies and being a
firefighter and group exercise instructor and going back to work actively at around my
babies 4 month birthday, I will say I had no trouble with my milk supply. At
times I may have a had a little bit of leaking while on a call that was
around my pumping time, but my milk flowed just fine.

Actually there is also a book called "Exercising Through Your Pregnancy" by
James F. Clapp III, MD, that talks about exercise and pregnancy and the last
chapter of the book talks about lactation and exercise. The jist of the book is
that exercise does not harm a mothers milk supply
