Can someone please give me any information to help this lady.

<<I received  information regarding the education requirements for becoming a
Lactation Consultant from the IBLCE.  I've contacted several colleges and no
one seems to be able to steer me in the right direction as to where to start.
 I live in New York on Long Island in Suffolk County.  Any help you could
give me would be greatly appreciated... I don't know where to begin.  Thank
