As the only person who has been posting to Lactnet lately about CMV I
presume it is my tone to which you have taken offence.  I'm so sorry -
there was no intention to offend.  On the contrary, my intention was to
bring to your attention and the attention of other Lactnetters the actual
research on CMV so that policies can be evidence-based.  I didn't mention
what my NICU unit does because I didn't want to imply that just because we
do something it is necessarily correct.
