The California Health Department called this morning to let me know about an
item seen in US Today on Tues.  The Detroit Pistons gave away 4,000 free
Gerber baby bottles to those attending the game.  This was a follow-up to a
Gerber bib giveaway.  Bibs may be a good idea, but those of you who like to
write letters may want to contact them and let them know there might be
better ways to let babies know they are appreciated than giving away free
bottles. I do not have an address for the Pistons, but the phone number is
810-377-0100. Perhaps someone in Detroit could look up the address and post
it for us.
