Dear Pam, I would suggest takinga look at Jack Newman MD's candida
protocol, on Cindy's pages at www.breastfeedingonline.com...for some
help here. There is no gain to be made by pumping and
bottlefeeding....that's for sure.

When things are complicated like this, I find that there may be multiple
layers of things going on.  The returning fever could be mastitis, (they
could culture the milk? Is her breast painful, red, hot, etc?) or could
be viral, with the vomiting bug the other child has. Hard to know. Did
she finish the antibiotics for mastitis, and was the medication
appropriate in dose and length and type?
