Susanna,
I also have a breastfed (22 mos) son who will need orthodontia.  He has a
neuromotor problem and a short frenulum, both his low tone and his
frenulum prevented him from properly spreading his palate, and his
permanent teeth overlap.  At age 10, his palate is still high arched and
narrow.  Imagine what our kids' mouths would have been like without
breastfeeding?
